Elegant Wedding Show

Favourite findings at the Elegant Wedding show

Glamorous, luxurious and grandiose: 3 words to describe the beautiful creations presented at the Elegant Wedding show which took place last Sunday at the Windsor Hotel. Accompanied by my newly engaged friend, we entered the grand ballroom and were immediately greeted with pink cocktails. Glass in hand, we visited every vendor, asked hundreds of questions and of course, we feast our eyes with all the gorgeous wedding ideas displayed on site.

First off, the venue is absolutely magical. The ballrooms at the Windsor hotel are breathtaking, worthy of a fairy tale wedding! You should know that to book the venue for your wedding, you must have at least 200 guests and book all 3 rooms. http://www.lewindsor.com

The first vendor to catch our attention, is one following the trend of the moment: The photobooth. Taking funny, memorable photos using props has become a must at weddings. Igloopix does exactly that – they install a photobooth at your venue that prints automatically 2 photos of your guests posing for the camera. They provide all the props and you can choose from 10 different backdrops. It is also possible to customize the photos printed with a message or an image from the newlyweds (perfect occasion to say thank you to your guests). The only issue: you will need a 12’ X 12’ space to accommodate igloopix in your venue. http://www.igloopix.com/

Although all models looked magnificent with their wedding gowns, we were blinded by the hair accessory that beautified the delicate hairdo of the model below. Both elegant and glamorous, this headpiece is absolutely stunning. Check out K by design and discover their bridal accessories collection, here: http://www.kbydesign.com

After the photobooth, we made our way to see the photographers – the experts who will immortalize the precious moments of your wedding day. In my opinion, your photographer is one of the most important vendors you will choose for your wedding. Therefore, it’s important to shop around and to fall in love with their style of photography. Juno Photo definitely stole our hearts at the Elegant Wedding Show. His style of photography is both candid and creative. We also love that he takes the time to visit the Pinterest accounts of his clients for inspiration and to understand the expectations and tastes of the bride and groom. We recommend that you take a look at his beautiful online wedding portfolio: www.junophoto.com

We fell under the charm of the romantic designs created by Joe's Prophouse. From shabby chic to pure elegance, they have everything to please your style. They have a wide range of accessories and ideas to make of your wedding day, a celebration to your image. They are definitely worth visiting: www.joesprophouse.com

And finally, what’s a wedding without something sweet. The trend continues … we saw a lot of sweet tables at the Elegant Wedding show. From candies to cupcakes, everything looked pretty and sophisticated. We were most impressed by how delicious the cakepops were at Farine et Chocolat – they basically melted in your mouth. And how could I not mention the gorgeous cake creations by Luisa Galuppo – worthy of a queen! Discover both bakers, here:

  1. The day after our wedding my husband and I said repeatedly that there was nothing about the event that we would have done differently. Cannot recommend the manager and his staff more!!!
