About Me

Dear Bride,
Welcome to She Said Oui! A blog founded by Bella Pereira, a Montrealer with a true passion for the celebration of LOVE. Founded in October 2013, the blog’s sole purpose is to help Montreal brides plan for the most beautiful day of their lives – their Wedding Day.
Other than the beautiful dress and shoes, a wedding comes with planning, decision-making and budgeting – She Said Oui! is there to guide you through every step of the way and inspire you with new ideas and trends.

My Story :
Born in Panama and raised in Montreal, I met the man of my life at the lockers of Dawson College as he was teaching a friend to play guitar. Neither of us knew at that moment that we would be starting the beginning of a long love story. 9 years later, on September 17th 2011, we tied the knot at Château St-Antoine with a classic and romantic wedding with a touch of Latin-American traditions. I planned my wedding from A to Z and would do it again 10 times (keeping the same hubby, of course!).
I have a true passion for wedding planning and for keeping brides up-to-date with the latest bridal and beauty trends. As an ex-makeup artist and currently working in the hair industry as a social media expert, means you will find She Said Oui! just about anywhere in the digital world. From Facebook to Pinterest, I’ve got you covered with my best tips to make you shine on your big day!

At She Said Oui! we regroup our findings and discoveries that any Montreal bride would need to make her day unforgettable: Hidden gem venues, beauty tips, dresses, cakes, flowers, photography and more.

Wishing you a wonderful and successful wedding day for you, your groom and your guests.

Much love,
Bella Pereira

My moto as a bride:
“Keep calm and carry on”

My best advice
Make your wedding day your own. Personalize it through DIY projects, special readings or revolve it around something you and your fiancé have in common.

The best advice I got as a bride:
“The day of your wedding, at some point in the evening, take your hubby by the hand and sneak out for a couple minutes to take it all in.”

What kept me from going bridezilla:
Help. Give your friends and family some tasks throughout the whole wedding planning period. Assign a person to be your runner on your big day (pick a friend who is organized or hire a wedding planner).
