Awesome Bridesmaids and Groomsmen gifts under $55

Friends and family are a big part of your wedding day. Your girls will wipe your tears when you have too much on your shoulders and will do their best to throw you a memorable bachelorette party. The same goes for the groomsmen who will keep the groom relaxed the day of and will give him a tap in the back when his eyes get teary when he sees his bride walking down the aisle... It goes without saying that your wedding party does a lot for the two of you before and on the big day. So how can you say THANK YOU without breaking the bank?
On my last trip to one of my favourite stores (INDIGO) I noticed that these guys have put a series of awesome (and cheap) gifts that make perfect bridal party gifts. Here are my favourite items, all under $55, for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen (the hubby gave me his stamp of approval for the guys gifts - so we are good!)
The beauty with Chapters/Indigo is that you can order everything online, so if you have a large bridal party, this makes things much easier, especially for a bride with a busy schedule and many to-do's on her list...

Let me know below if you plan to gift your wedding party and the kind of gifts your had in mind, I would love to know :)

1.  The Laura Clutch: This fold-over pouch comes in a variety of colours. You can pick a different colour for each of your bridesmaids or buy one that fits (or matches) with your wedding colours... This pouchette could even serve as their evening bag the day of. Fill it up with candies, a nice thank you card and maybe a gift card to a restaurant with a reservation date so you and your girls can catch up after you come back from your honeymoon.
$13.50 (Colours: Pink/Orange, Black/Natural, Bronze/Gold, Ivory/Lime, Mauve, Navy, Silver, Sky)

2.  I Heart Necklace Bronze: This little pendant reminds me of the heart origami I used to make out of the Montreal Metro transfer papers back in the 90's. It is a cute way of saying "you have a piece of my heart" to your girlfriends. I love how simple it is and easy to wear. Because it is so subtle, you can be sure your girls will wear it often. $50

3.  Lollia Wish Bubble Bath: After many months of busy wedding-planning your friends (or honey bees) will need to unwind... help them out with this luxurious bubble bath bottle with bees made of real gold leafing. If your budget permits, pair it with this adorable Gold dipped bee pendant and wrap it around the bottle.
$48 (bubble bath) $62 (Bee Mine necklace)

4.  Cursive Monogram Mug: These chic mugs are all over magazines and social media... Used as actual coffee mug or to display pens on your desk, I have even seen people growing herbs in them, they are simply beautiful anywhere you put them. Since this mug is quite inexpensive ($5) you can pair it with a tin of her favourite tea... I recommend Glitter & Gold from David's tea. This chai tea contains gold and silver sugar crystals that shimmer as they steep - it doesn't get any more girly than this! $15 (100g + Free tin)

5.  Ecocube Wild Rose: Say "Thank You" with a rose... This little kit comes with everything you need to grow a beautiful wild rose. This gift is perfect for the nature lovers and eco-friendly girls. All this plant needs is a little water and love, in just 2 weeks wild flowers will start sprouting. But the most amazing part is that your friends can plant the entire cube in a pot with soil and the cube will entirely compost acting as a fertilizer for the plant. Now this is an amazing keepsake from your wedding Day! $10

6.  Painted Avis Earrings: These earrings are simply stunning! If your girls still haven't found their accessories for your wedding (and if the colours fit with their dress) you have to jump on these! I love how sophisticated and delicate they look, they will surely make a statement. $35 (Colours: Blue/Gold/Purple, Lavender/Orange, Navy/Light blue)

Indigo, Chapters, Gifts, groomsmen, wedding, wedding party, thank you, friends, budget

1.  Whiskey Stones: If your man and his friends are whiskey snobs, this is one gift they will enjoy. My hubby is a big fan of these soapstone cubes that, to quote him, "won't diluted my awesome glass of 18 year-old single malt". $24.99 (set of 9 cubes)

2.  Chic Monsieur Gift Set: Now, if your groomsmen are more wine connoisseurs, you may want to thank them with an elegant bottle opener gift set. Now this is a classy gift!   $55

3.  Bottoms Up Beer GlassOk, so your fiancĂ©'s buddies are not really into fine drinking... no worries, this beer glass (gifted with #4 on this list) will definitely get them talking about the good old days when they all grow up to be old friends. Nothing like a good cold beer (this glass is actually designed to keep his hand warm and his beer cold!). $19.50

4.  Flask: When I saw this flask at the store I immediately thought to myself: What a great wedding photo this would make... all groomsmen holding on to their flask the morning of. It's comical and shows camaraderie. I also love what it says, I feel like all men think this way the morning of a great event: "You can't drink all day, if you don't start in the morning". Oh and PS... maybe this little flask will help you save on booze the night of! $10

5.  Beer Making KitI've heard of people making their own wine, but a make-your-own beer kit? Now, that's an activity for real men! Fun times with the boys are not over once he gets hitched, and this gift will just be the proof. Cheers to a guys' night in! $49.50

6.  Canadian Icon CoastersWhatever it is that your groomsmen like to drink, if they are Canadian, they will take pride in using these conversation-starting coasters made of real wood. A gift with that comes with history. $14.50 (set of 4)

  1. Shopping for gifts for men is hard, and shopping for groomsmen seems to be even harder! I just never know what to get that they'll actually use. This helps a bit though! :)
